Bay Area Based - Making Connections & Getting Started

Hey BP family, 

This is my first post since joining a few months ago. I was encouraged to write this post because I am intrigued that so many are willing to share their collective knowledge and experience. I think it's awesome!

With that being said, I have been able to accomplish a decent amount since joining, including obtaining my CA salespersons license and starting a new job in development. Now that I have begun settling into my new role, I want to start delving deeper into REI. I'm attending my first meetup event next week, any advice on additional steps?
