Collateralizing Term Life Insurance Policy for Investment Loans

Hello all!

I am ready to jump head into investing! I found a way that could help someone like me with not alot of capital to get started. I learned some banks will collateralize a loan against a term life insurance policy if they are named the primary beneficiary. Has anyone successfully done this? Could you provide any insights on banks who are willing to do so? I am in the DFW area (Fort Worth, to be specific). Thanks!
