Questions for Insurance Brokers

Hi All,

Hope you're having a good weekend! What are the top questions to ask insurance brokers and agents when vetting them? For my first property I ended up choosing the first agent who got back to me, without fully understanding the nuances of insurance, so I want to be smarter about it for my next property. I'm looking for both small residential multifamily (3-4 units) and smaller commercial MF (5-10 units), if that's helpful. So far the questions I have are:

• Overview of coverage products available
• Do you issue coverage to LLCs?
• Do you do walk throughs of properties through investors?
• Describe your filing claims process.
