Starting with 15K - How to proceed

Hi all,

If you had 15K cash ready to invest, but you've never invested in RE before, what would you do? What would you invest in? Asking for a friend... :)

[A Little Background]

- I am new to this whole Real Estate Investing, but have been studying some materials, listening to the BG podcasts, and I believe, I am leaning towards rental properties to create passive income.

- I have also thought about using companies like Fundrise to get started and get a feel for it, but I am unsure that this would give me the experience I to actually feel like I'm investing in a physical asset.

- I am in the Raleigh, NC area.

Thanks!

- C
