Day 1 Trying to get a grasp on everything

I have been thinking about getting into rental property and today is the day I started to try my best and learn whatever I can and figure out what I need to know, and just really get an understanding of what I am trying to get into. If anyone who knows their stuff and could help me out with a few starting points on what I should be focusing on educating myself about what sort of property I should be beginning with, any sort of licenses/certifications I would need, etc. Anything that could help a 19 year old kid trying to invest into some assets it would be very much appreciated.
