Does a Real Estate License Help You be a Better Investor??

As a New Real Estate Investor, do I gain anything by getting my Real Estate License?

Would like to hear from the pros and veterans out there on the forum. Is this investment worth it, or should I focus on gaining investment knowledge through training like Bigger Pockets?

What you would gain in the beginning is access to MLS and commissions from your purchase. Longterm loss would be that you might miss out on off market properties and someone to truly look at your deals for you.

A professional agent is trained to analyze and be on the look out for properties. Those skills are not learned overnight or by taking a RE course.
