New to Investment Real Estate: Multi Family v Single Family

Hello!

I'm interested in getting into the beginning stages of investment real estate - either multi family or single family - and trying to gain a better understanding of both options.

Currently, I live in NYC, so this would ideally be for out of the city and in more affordable / growing cities. 

Looking to get involved with events and talks happening around the city that speak to these investment ideas for millennials.
