ADT Alarm - Which option is better?

Hi all,

I have plans to install an ADT alarm at my home. But I'm confused if an ADT monitored security system needs a landline connection. I have noticed that we can buy a security system without a landline or a landline security system. But, ADT monitoring realizes many homeowners choose to go without a home phone and rely solely on their cell phone. What might be the reason for this?

Is there any advantage of installing the one without a landline? Which is more beneficial?

Please let me know your experience and suggestion on home security solutions available in Hamilton.

Hated ADT their install to monitors was not fully connected?? But we had to go with them on a commercial/fire system & they were much more expensive than originally quoted & the install took forever. For our home we went with a commercial Doyle application as we have few options & they were not the best but so far it's a very effective system. It's all WiFi & EVERYTHING is monitored.

But the system you're referring to is in Hamilton CDN??? So you may be restricted.
