Hello Beginner Investors!

If you have been educating yourself by reading, listening to audio and taking courses about real estate for quite some time but haven't started investing, it is probably time to completely stop the education process.

When I was getting started, I was unknowingly lying to myself that I need to continue to learn and read more before I make my first purchase.  It took a long time for me to figure out that I was hiding behind further education and using it as an excuse for not pulling the trigger.  I kept telling myself that "I am totally going to start investing once I know enough to make sure I don't screw up"

Be honest with yourself and practice self-awareness.  I have a strong feeling that many others out there are not being honest with themselves and continue to further their education without real intent on following through.

No book, class or podcast is going to teach you more about real estate than your actual deals.  I personally got most all of my education through the endless number of mistakes I made through each deal and continue to make mistakes.  Don't waste your time, if you are going to get into real estate you are going to have to get your feet wet. Otherwise, it's probably best to pursue something else.  Education in real estate is a complete waste of time and life if not followed by action.

Aside from real financial constraints, what is keeping you from starting your investing journey?
