How important is a mentor?
Hi,
In everyone's opinion, how important is it to find a mentor/coach when starting out in investing or anything in real estate? I'm learning a lot here, but feel like a mentor would be extremely beneficial.
Thanks

The reality is you can figure it out yourself for sure, but I definitely agree with @Frank Wong that having a mentor is going to help you go faster and make fewer mistakes. Nothing can replace working with someone who has done what you want to do and I'd rather learn from someone else's mistakes than my own. Especially when there are extra zeros at the end of those mistakes. Find someone with a map to where you want to go and copy. Best of luck.
The books, podcasts, etc...are great, but you need to learn how it all connects. Learning specific, individual knowledge tips, without a system for how they all come together, can leave you worse off than when you started.
