Forming an investment partnership
Completely new here, and it appears I have a whole lot to dive into... but I have been discussing about doing some real estate investing with someone I work with. We would both be brand new to this and the question came up how to form the partnership legally.
He advised that we should each form our own LLC's and buy the property together.. I just wanted to see if anyone had some advice or resources to use to figure this out? I figure there are probably some advantages and disadvantages to every way, but have no idea what the typical way would be.
Any help?
Thanks,
