How do I find fixer-upper investors?

Shauna McVey
Posted

I’m looking to buy old fixer-upper homes and rehab them with a small established construction team on an ongoing basis, but we need investors to start. We’ve got plenty of combined experience and love to get our hands dirty. The long-term goal is to be able to make enough profit on a few initial houses that we won’t need outside investors going forward. We do not believe in cutting corners on quality for increased profit. We cherish old homes and are in a great up-and-coming market and location with a lot of options. How do I find and attract investors for this? What percentage of profit is typical for investors to buy in?
