Hello BP community, I’ve been watching a ton of podcast on investing and listening to a ton of audio books and want to get started in investing I’m currently in the Long Island ,NY are a and would love to invest here if possible but if it makes sense to invest possibly somewhere not to far and that is cheaper and more lucrative I’m interested in that also. I’m possibly looking for a mentor in the Long Island Ny area who can share some knowledge about our area best way to find deals etc. I purchased my first house in sept. 2018 that I currently live in with my fiancé and daughter and a child on the way. I’m currently in a fha and would like to refinance soon. How would I know how much equity I could possibly have in the home? If any and what are some ways to boost my homes value quick the house was renovated 100% before we purchased interior wise. Also what are you guys suggestions to get my hands on a second property to utilize as a rental. Thanks!!
