House Hack or Rent??

My wife & I are building our first house. It is a 4/2.5 main house w/a 2/1.5 ADU. Our initial plan was to live in the ADU while renting out the main house, & eventually move out & rent both. We are roughly 1.5 months from completion. I was just asked if we would rent out our ADU for a year. I personally know this person & know they would be a reliable renter. I feel that renting both right away could give us some sense of mobility & we could end up with a 2nd home more quickly. On the other hand, the house hack has been our plan for the last year. Thoughts on which would be a better business move?
