Unemployed for two years, how can I get started in real estate?

Hi - I am a former entrepreneur who hit a slump. The past two years I've been "unemployed" meaning, my ideas failed, I failed. I started looking at the real estate space because its a more tangible business than starting with an idea or concept. The downside, I am haven't had any income for the last years, so qualifying for bank financing is a challenge, NO. I would like to start flipping and buy/hold for longterm. Any suggestions about my potential options on getting started?
