Hello Everyone,

I’m planning on purchasing my first rental via Detroit’s Land Bank. Many properties I’ve seen are in horrible conditioner and few mainly need cosmetic work (Paint, New tile floor, New carpet, Refinishing Wooden floors etc..) along with a furnace and heater! The home I’m looking is located in a decent location near the highway with good occupancy in the area and dozens of properties being worked on just within a 1-2 mile radius (I know because I’ve been working on one about a mile from the property I’m anticipating on purchasing)

Have you or do you know someone that has had experience with a land bank before? Any tips, and something(s) I should keep an eye for during this process?
