FHA Loan Occupancy rules and Roommmates

Hi everyone,

My dad, brother, and I bought a two family home and have every intention with moving into the 2nd floor within 60 days of closing. However, it is a 5 bedroom apartment. Can we rent out the other 2 bedrooms?

I’d like the extra income to help us either pay off the property faster or save up for the next house.

Is this still okay? Or should we wait until after the first year to have roommates?

*We will still be the primary residents as we said we would be.
