How to determine a rough rehab estimate on a property

Michael Feld
Posted

Hi all,

I've been wondering- so many times I'll find online what seems to be a great property, but the property needs some rehab. As I definitely don't have the time or money to hire a home inspector every time I'd like to come check out the property, how can the rehab costs be even roughly determined?

I'm sure the experts have gained experience from on the job, but how are beginner investors supposed to determine on a whim what will need fixing and how much it'll approximately cost?
