I am 43, have been a life insurance broker since 1997 and used to invest in single family homes. I went through a divorce and now am ready to learn again. I have phone skills, people skills, love single and  4 unit it homes but have low credit, and several children. In metro Detroit, how do I begin getting back and buying my first home. I am willing to work and know insurance, and have a degree in finance that does not help.

No mentors, just opportunity to get started.
