How to Determine profit splits on a rental

I’m a newbie I don’t have any investment properties I’m looking to buy a Duplex I will put the money down to get the loan and rent half to my daughter and rent the other half to whomever my question is I would like to split the profits with my daughter what’s the best way to do this? I have read lots of blogs on equity splits, but where do I go to learn The best approach to capture repairs and such as to who pays for What when you have a partner, I would like my daughter to be a partner so she has it her first investment as well as me. Any advice will be much appreciated.
