New to the real estate game!

Ashton Krom
Posted

Good evening everyone!

My name is Ashton and I’m from the Orlando FL area. I’m brand new to BP and recently been extremely interested in the real estate game. I would love to get into investing but at the moment There’s factors that I believe are stopping me. I have a baby on the way(1st one) a wedding in July I have to pay 6k on and have about 30k in debt. Does anyone that has gone through what I’m going through now have any advice as to how I can start in real estate investing? What are some steps that I can take into put me in the right direction? I appreciate taking the time to red this and hope everyone has a great day!

Congrats on the baby and wedding! Have you checked out the BP money podcast, they have tons of specific episodes to help you cut back on certain areas and save money. Have you thought about talking with your fiancé about ways to save money on the wedding, maybe getting that 6k down to 3-4 by weighing your options. Explain how cutting back on some things will help set you up for future financial independence.
