Finding a Mentor as a High Schooler
Hello BiggerPockets Community,
My name is Matthew and I am a senior in high school looking to step into real estate. I have listened to BiggerPockets podcast for several months and have read many real estate related books. After listening and reading, I have come to the conclusion that I need to take action and act now rather than later.
My question is regarding finding a mentor.
How do you recommend I go about finding a mentor at such a young age? I understand it isn't as easy as just asking someone to hold my hand and show me the way. Therefore, I must offer them value in order to learn alongside them. How should I position myself to show my value? What value does a teenager offer to investors? I appreciate you taking the time to help me out.
Thanks a lot!
