Finding cash and deals when starting out.

First of all, thanks to everyone here for investing the time and effort to help each other, what an invaluable resource! I’m just starting out and am now convinced I want to buy and hold to develop and maintain long term wealth. Maybe the answers are here and I just need to do more research, but any advice on how do I find the cash and whats the secret for finding good deals? Again, thank you and best of luck.
