Hey there BP fam! I am new to the game, my wife and I bought our first house in Colorado Springs a year ago and rented out our spare room on AirBnb. We got way better revenue than I was expecting, and it turned me on to the idea of real estate investing! I’ve been drinking from a firehouse so to speak listening to the podcast, reading blog posts, and my book list is getting long. I would love to get together with anyone in the area who is investing and get some tips on how to overcome the hurdle of the first deal. Thanks!

There's a local real estate group that meets on the first and third Tuesdays of every month at Third Space Coffee.  I've only been a few times but everyone is really nice and welcoming.  I've owned properties here since 2006 (just have a couple rentals and haven't gotten into anything crazier than that) but I'll give you what insight I have if you'd like.  I'm going to be doing my first 1031 exchange in the springtime so I'm still learning too!
