New Agent Seeking Broker!

Hi guys! I've recently become licensed and now I'm at the fun stage of picking a broker to work for. I live in CA and plan to start full time as an agent in a few months. My question is, how do you go about finding an agent?? It feels like this weird gray area of me wanting to work for them and them wanting to know who I am first and we're both trying to impress each other? Do I email around, walk-in? I would love to go into the offices and talk to them but what does that convo look like? "Are you hiring?" do I bring a resume? I'm new so anything would be helpful!

Thank you fellow real estate enthusiasts!

Amanda
