First Time Remote Investor
Hello Bigger Pockets!
I am just getting started with Real Estate investing, but I do not live in the best market. Up here in Alaska, the house prices are high, rent is low, and it is very expensive to remodel a house. Additionally, plane tickets are more expensive here than they are in the lower 48. As such, I have decided to invest long-distance, as in podcast #301 and #73. I keep soaking up the information, but I realize it is time to get involved in the community!
Anyone have suggestions on good markets? High Price to Rent ratio, good landlord laws, up and coming markets?
Additionally, anyone have any reliable contacts who are willing to work long distance?
I have considered markets in Ohio, Florida, Arizona, and Michigan.
I am willing to pull my weight in risk, loans, paperwork, and deal analysis.
Thanks for any info you are willing to provide!
