Metro Properties Pros and Cons

Hi, I'm new to this, and I live in Ohio, and my dad owns some Metro properties he inherited, and we were wondering what the pros and cons of owning/running those types of houses are. How do we go along running these types of houses, especially if we have tenants living in them? Any advice given would be great. Thank you.
