Spokane, WA multi-family property investing

I will be relocating from San Diego to Coeur D'Alene/Sandpoint, ID area and looking to purchase MFH apartment buildings in the Spokane area.  Ideally 3-plex and 4-plex units.  Does anyone here have experience with units in this area?  I'd like to purchase relatively close to where I live and use property management companies and build a team to manage my investments.  I'm in it for the cash flow, not necessarily worried about appreciation.

I figure with 3 colleges right in the area and new industry (tech) going into the Spokane Valley corridor, the potential is there to meet my goal of 40-50 doors within 10 years.

Any advice is greatly appreciated
