Investing in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Hello members,

Is there anybody in Milwaukee or that’s investing in Milwaukee that can point me In the direction of an investor friendly title company? Real estate lawyer? Also is there anyone I can sit down with that can walk me through filling out purchase and sale agreement forms, as well as assignment contracts?

Thank you all and I hope everybody is having a great day!

Hi Stephen,

I am also a member of REIA and your first meeting is free. Feel free to also join Brew City REI Meetup which has a very active Facebook REI forum of engaged local investors sharing REI news, contractors, advice, resources and deals. You can use the search button to find any one you need and if you can't find it there you can ask the other 1600 local investors in the group and they will chime in...the best part about it is that it's free and no 'catch'. We do have meetups and pop up events.

Land Title and Summit LDS are popular choices. I mainly use Land Title and Stewart Title and I like them because they are dependable, organized and trustworthy.

I use Tyler Rens as well from time to time to draft contracts but Jon Hyndiuk drafted our Assignment Contract. For offer to purchase, you can use the WB-11.

If you are planning on wholesaling, in my opinion, the first step should be lining up money in case you need to buy the deal---hard money, transactional funding, private money, and build relationships with banks.

Good luck on your REI adventures and hope to see you at a Brew City or REIA event!

Rebecca
