HELP PLEASE, FIRST TIME INVESTOR, where to start
Hello all this is great site to be on! Thanks in advance for any help, info and input. I recently came on to 50,000$, and I want to do something smart with it. I'm 26 years old and have been researching real estate investments for a year now. I live in midland tx where the market is extremely high because of the oil. There are a few good deals here and there. My question is what would you do to start. Buy and hold? Fix and flip? Another question is what type of loan should I apply for if I was to fix and flip? Do I have to live in the property for a certain amount of time? And also which would yall recommend, purchasing a property through an LLC or CORPORATION rather than in my name? Thanks again just wondering where to start.

Buy and hold a multi-family. Occupy one unit, rent out the other three. Spend two years in the property building some equity and experience while saving for your next investment. Rinse and repeat.
