What is so good about having a single member LLC in florida vs Texas? Texas costs $300 to form vs Florida at $150 and they to have state income tax both very flexible. Does anyone have better information on this subject?

Where's you're property?  What are you doing?

TX statutes on LLCs differ from Delaware in only a handful of places.  If you "do business" (defined by the SoS), you should register as a foreign entity doing business in Texas.  Buying and selling property are not doing business.  You can defend law suits, but if you don't register then you cannot bring your claims.  That includes a suit for eviction.
