Best advice to find a solid mentor -eager 2 work as I learn

Recently attended my very first REI 3 day workshop with a friend who brought me after a Tony Robbins event. I'm always looking to learn new things and assumed I would just be tagging along. I have not been able to stop thinking of all the fascinating things I learned. I've downloaded every podcast, blog and YouTube channel I can get my hands on about REI. I am wondering with so much information out there how I would go about finding a mentor. In exchange for their mentorship I would provIde my time to work and contribute in any way I could while learning. I have signed up for every real estate meet up group and investing group in my area. I plan to show up to all of them, listen and learning. Any advice on method order of learning and doing would be greatly appreciated.
