New Investor Company Structure

Hi All, I'm just starting out as a new investor and am looking forward to everyone's knowledge. I'm in the planning stage of my real estate venture and I'm looking at having a business partner. What sort of structure are people using mostly (Series LLC, LLC, etc) and do you recommend having a partner or going at it alone, as I'm on the fence. Thanks for your thoughts!
