RICS accreditation for property development?
Hello guys!
Would you recommend to get a Masters or even MBA in Real Estate accredited by the RICS?
my background:
studies: Bachelor (Architecture) / Masters (Management)
working experience: urban planning / currently: construction management
My job offers me: get to know the local contractors / some investors / deep know-how of construction / good salary
My goal for the future: fix and flip / buy to rent on a private investor / JV basis / in Europe - maybe US later
My research on RICS: Should provide me a better (international) network with all RE related professionals.
As I`m already experienced in managing contractors, I`m more interested in getting in touch with RE investors or other RE financing corporations. Therefore the RICS accreditation.
The degree will cost me about 15-23k $ + 2 years of distance learning in addition to the work.
Does anyone have experience with RICS? Do you think it`s worth the time and money?
Thanks in advance guys!
