New to REI in a new city? Where should I start?

Hello all!

I am 24 years old, just graduated and am moving from Miami to Chicago for work (yes I bought a jacket already). An older cousin asked me about a month ago if I already had a place in Chicago. I didn't, and he told me to look up House Hacking, which I had never heard before. He gave me some resources and told me to start here in BP. I have been reading, joining webinars and listening to the BP podcast. I am really excited about REI!

I am getting a short-term lease while I get to know the city and save up some money. I know I want to invest in multifamily properties to do the house hack, I am planning to get an FHA loan or 203k loan, but I don't know where to begin. I want to learn how to find good deals and analyze them properly. Any tips, advice or contacts in Chicago?

Thanks!
