First short rental in Campton, Waterville Valley, NH

Hi,

I am new to BP and have been doing research on investing in a vacation home that I can rent out.  I live in Boston, MA market and it's too expensive.

I've done some research and thought Campton, Waterville Valley, NH area would be an ideal location for all season rental.

I'm nervous not being able to find renters to cover the mortgage.  Looking for anyone with experience with short term rentals in this market.

I'm considering starting out small with a 1 bed 1 bath condo that will have a small mortgage + HOA fees. Or would a decent sized house attract more renters.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
