i am a 16 year old who needs some advice on schooling before RE

i am thinking i will get into a trade like hvac to generate money to start a real estate rental bussiness which would be my dream. i have been studying RE as much as possible and my parents are trying to force me to go to college which is not in my interest. Do you guys think going to school for 6 months and getting in a trade for a little to make money asap would be a smart idea? i know a couple guys who have gotten into HVAC and started out making 45k a year at 18. i also may consider fix and flips once im on my feet.
