RE: Purchase contracts

Hello everyone,

I am completely new to real estate investing and have a question regarding the execution of a purchase and sale agreement. Can anyone share with me how the process of getting a house under contract and assigning the contract actually works? If the house is listed for sale and I execute this contract is my offer price (that is listed on the contract) what I must wholesale it for? If so, how do I make money on the contract upon assigning it to another investor? Thanks for any and all feedback. It is greatly appreciated.
