Drowning in Data #DataFlowbasics?

Hi All, 

 how're the seasoned folks managing their data flow? i have leads from the city, driving for dollars, and online sources-However how are you keeping it straight with followup and organization not being compromised?  I know its not a pressing problem to everyone, but when we're buying larger lists ( and associated costs) , I'd like to know how you all are managing it and/or what processes have you instituted to manage it?
