Novice Investor needs Advice!

Hi All, 

I just recently bought a condo with the idea of turning it into a cash flow property. It's in a lower income area of houston, and i'm having trouble getting it rented out. Does anyone have any suggestions on what i can do to turn the property over better? I'm a novice investor so any advice is greatly appreciated.
