Starting out with a flip

My wife and I are starting our real estate adventure and have been educating ourselves on BP. Our initial strategy is to start with 2-4 flips to pay off some personal debt and build assets to progress our investment strategy. We will be starting with hard money financing and have some questions on LLC options. Is this a must do before any investment or can we incorporate after we have raised enough capital for a buy and hold property?
