Networking help needed

Greetings BP community! I am looking to do flips using the BRRRR method and househacking. I am needing to dive into networking but unsure where to start. I’ve never had to network before and live in the perfect place to network, but I’m having a hard time identifying opportunities. I live in Santa Barbara, CA. (I’m not planning to invest here) There are tons of investors but I need to figure out where to go to connect. Thanks for your creative ideas!
