How long is the process of actually becoming an agent after exams

Hello everyone!!!  My name is Angel Bonilla and I have recently passed both my state and course real estate exams.  I have been looking online and have been unable to find out how long it usually takes for the state to approve a new licensee.  I have a sponsoring broker and will be getting my license in New York.

Congrats on getting into the real estate business. Usually within a month you should be good to go. What area of real estate will you be focusing on?
