Any Canadians investing in US real estate here?

Hi all!

I'm a Canadian (living in Toronto) looking to start investing in US real estate.  Are there any Canadians on this board that invest in US real estate?  Looking for advice on some logistics for starting out (what do I need to set up in Canada after I set up my US business, taxes, and do I need to worry about immigration at all?

Thanks!!

Plenty of Canadians investing in US. Use search bar. If you like advice from CPA I can refer you. In terms of immigration being allowed to travel to US is recommended. But I have closed on properties without physically seeing it until months after acquisition.
I would recommend you spend some time and google “cross boarder tax” and you will find a lot of good reads to answer your questions.
