Newcomer Looking to Discuss Notes

Marcus Cathren
Posted

Greetings All,

My name is Marcus, I am 22yo and originally from Los Angeles, CA but am currently serving overseas for the next few years. I've recently taken an interest in investing in notes me both performing and non-performing. Before I was planning on buying a house back home earlier in the year and renting it out but instead of dropping a large down payment I could put that money in a few notes for a much better return. I have did the most research I can via YouTube, forums and books. However, with all the knowledge I gained I'm still hesitant to get my feet wet. Being overseas it's hard enough as is trying to get business done stateside as is, let alone trying to manage a note with no experience. I'm posting here today in search of any helpful tips, advice, your experiences and encounters etc. Any feedback will be much appreciated!
