To House Hack or Not To House Hack, That is the Question

Racking my brain with this hypothetical scenario; would love to get your thoughts,

Economically, is there any advantage to buying a duplex and living in one unit while renting out the other VS buying a duplex and renting out both units while renting elsewhere? (Assuming all the rents are the same).
