Good afternoon all,

I am trying to break into the long island markets as a new investor. I live in a 2 family home renting out one unit and living in the other. We are trying to break into the SFR market or purchase a second 2 family home (although all 2 family homes are by permit and require owner occupancy). We have looked at multiple properties and keep getting outbid by owner occupants or cash offers from bigger investors. Each no is one step closer to a yes in my eyes. I am looking to network with other investors in the area in hopes to help one another in this competitive market.
