How to start off investing with less than 5k to invest with

Hello biggerpocket, I’m from CT and I’m new to investing and would like some more information on starting off without having more than 5K to start with. Any ideas upon where I could come up with creative financing to secure these deals? I’m already connected with a Realtor and a hard money lender and everyone I talk to about lending is skeptical or doesn’t have enough money to throw around. Suggestions?
