Where to park investor funds?

We are looking to expand our family real estate business to a different state under the name of a LLC. In doing this, we have secured a complete hands off investor. So, where do you park the funds from your investors? In a third party account? While he's a silent investor, we would like him to have a sense of security where the funds are rather than in a checking account. Any crafty money handling out there? This is a first time an investor and any way to ensure "Comfort" we are interested in. Thanks.
