How much should I pay for a house for first time investor?

I am interested in flipping houses. I found a house, ironically, in my own neighborhood. The house needs a lot of repairs but it has great potential. My question is if you were buying a house for the first time to fix up and flip how much would you pay for a house? What would you start with?
